The 2022 FIPFA World Cup will take place from the 16th to 22nd October, 2022 at Sydney Olympic Park. Competing nations will arrive early to recover from their travels. Teams will train and complete their classification in the week leading up to the tournament.

All competition matches of the 2022 FIPFA World Cup will take place at Sydney Olympic Park’s Quaycentre. The scene of the 2000 Summer Olympic Games, the 2018 Invictus Games and 2018 Wheelchair Rugby World Championship is a fitting site for what is sure to be an incredibly exciting tournament!
The arena features 2 show courts and seating for over 2,000 spectators including 250 accessible spaces in the stands. A vibrant and vocal crowd will surely be one of the event’s highlights! Teams will also have access to change rooms, training courts and team storage areas in this world class facility.
Thanks to our accommodation partner, Accor, our athletes, officials and support staff will be based in Sydney Olympic Park. The Pullman will host the competing nations, while event officials will stay at the adjacent Novotel. Accor will ensure our contingent are well fed and comfortable for the duration of their stays.
Our event hotels are a 500m walk from the competition venue, the Quaycentre. For those who want to explore, Sydney Olympic Park station is around the corner and Sydney trains are fully accessible. There are kilometres of pleasant surrounds to stroll through in the precinct.
